CYANIDE – the greatest mistake of my life!

CYANIDE! yeah the word sounds lethal. I was intoxicated by its tone. So i decided to continue its prophecy.

CYANIDE – the annual fest of DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, PANJAB UNIVERSITY, CHANDIGARH, where I am a student of final year. This time, being the senior most students of our dept., all was in our hands. But the things went round the dirty corner and all of a sudden all the responsibility fell on a bunch of people. I was also one of ‘em. Slowly and slowly, ppl started broking apart and ultimately we were 5 ppl. left in the gang.

Somehow, we managed the things and accomplished our duties respectfully. But the bad part is that inspite of praising us, people started criticizing and we fell victim to tension and soar relations. Ultimately, I learned a lesson. Now onwards, I will never trust on even my best friend. The people who are helpful at the right time are the only one to be praised, none other. And such type of persons are rare on this earth.

Life @ D.C.E.T.

“Life in our campus i.e. is all fun” – our seniors used to say. And it seemed to be as long as they were with us. But for now, when we ourselves are in final year and are the senior most folks of our department, we realize that how they made our lives easy whilst we were in the campus.

They passed the legacy to us and now we are doing the same job.

The rules and regulations are more tough now, and the criterion of 75% attendance has to be strictly met, failing which, we won’t be allowed to write our exams. Now we are regularly given assignments and projects, which keep us busy throughout the week.

Inspite of all this we take our lives in a cool manner.  We party any night we want. Still we are having mass bunks what we popularly and arrogantly announce as a CUT. We have really learnt a lot and this is the foundation which will keep us standing during the storming difficulties of life.

Truly, life at Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, would be the greatest time of my life.
